Work Closet Basics – Make Getting Dressed For Work A Breeze

Now that I have a regular work schedule, I am once again faced with the age-old conundrum of what to wear each morning. (Farewell, WFH chaise lounges; you will be missed.) Being in the fashion industry, a lot of my everyday attire is acceptable for the office, but I’ve been making an effort to improve my tried-and-true business attire nonetheless. Imagine clean button-downs, skinny belts, and timeless totes. My morning stress subsided once I stocked up on more of those. In this article, I will share some of my work closet basics with you guys.

While the foregoing may appear mundane at first, the market has recently seen an influx of creative and innovative new products. In addition, outfits built around timeless, well-polished items are excellent foundations for experimenting with different styling techniques and statement pieces. Take a look at the items I would put in my cart right now if I were shopping for a professional wardrobe. You can find a wide variety of stylish shoes, snug sweaters, classy accessories, and an abundance of simple tailored outfits.

The following is a great place to begin if you need to give your closet a little facelift so that it’s office appropriate!

Boutiquefeel kicks things off with a bang by providing a great choice in shirts. The button down and jeans combo is also a favorite of mine.

Several chic people I know who have purchased this had nothing but praise for it.

Subtle hints of color are some of my favorite design elements.

To those who do not yet have the ideal yellow blazer, this one comes highly recommended.
