Making a White Blazer Looks Stylish

Making a White Blazer Looks Stylish

This year, I’ve made it a point to build out my collection of “third pieces,” or the outer garments (like jackets and blazers) that serve as the last touch to an outfit. If you’re wondering how to make a white blazer look stylish, it’s a new favorite of mine. In warm weather, it gives any outfit—from a dress to jeans—a lovely, eye-catching crispness.

Having one in your closet is a great idea; I know I enjoy mine. Below, I share what to wear with a white blazer and styling advice for the office, evening, and day, in case you need convincing or are just looking for white blazer outfit ideas. At the end of the piece, you’ll see a selection of my favorite white blazers.

1. Zipper Design High Waist Skinny Jeans

You can’t go wrong with a pair of blue denim and a crisp white jacket. Blue and white is a classic spring and summer color scheme, and it looks great with sneakers or sandals. Swap in a pair of pumps or heeled shoes for a more formal look.

I think a white blazer is the perfect way to dress up a pair of shorts; you can throw it over your shoulder while you’re out and about or in an air-conditioned restaurant for lunch. Here I’m rockin’ a dressier vibe in a great tank, tailored shorts, and heels, but you could easily pull off a laid-back outfit with cuffed denim shorts, a tee, and sandals.

If you’re looking for a new way to wear your white blazer this summer, try layering it over a floral or brightly colored dress. Whether you’re headed to church or a night on the beach, this ensemble will have you looking and feeling great. For the office, wear a work-appropriate heels or flats.

4. Off Shoulder Plain Crop Top & High Slit Floral Print Maxi Skirt Set

In the summer, my go-to ensemble is a white blazer jacket thrown over the shoulders, along with a bodysuit or tank top, a satin skirt, and sandals. This is an excellent ensemble for a formal outdoor event, such as a cocktail party, dinner, or fundraising.
